With the aim of raising public awareness about the existence and significance of the Code, about the functioning of the Coordinating Body and about the manner of submitting complaints to the Body, Facebook and Instagram profiles of the Code have been created. These profiles will publish posts in Macedonian and Albanian related to the Code, as well as video content in the coming period. The Coordinating Body for Monitoring Compliance with the Code of Conduct in the Online Sphere during Electoral Processes and Referenda met on 26 August 2025, regarding a complaint filed by the “Vredi” Coalition against the online media outlet Tetovasot.mk and a journalist from this media outlet, for a video clip published on 19 August 2025, titled “There is no electricity in Zhelino, the citizens are revolting. On 13 August 2025, the Coordinating Body which will be acting upon the Code of Conduct in the Online Sphere during Electoral Processes and Referenda during the 2025 Local Elections, held its first meeting. At the meeting, it was noted that the AJM and Metamorphosis had nominated new members/deputy members to the Body due to objective incapacity of the previous members. The announcement of the Parliamentary and Presidential Elections 2024 marked the start of the active period for the Coordinating Body for Monitoring Compliance with the Code of Conduct in the Online Sphere during Electoral Processes and Referenda.
